Palmeira Wind Power Project connects its first turbines to grid

The Palmeira Wind Power Project, developed and fully funded by CTG Brasil, has successfully connected its first turbines to the grid—marking the start of power generation.

Situated in the state of Paraíba in northeastern Brazil, the project spans approximately 300 square kilometers and boasts a total installed capacity of 648 MW.

Once fully operational, it is expected to deliver an average of about 2.55 billion kWh of clean electricity annually—equivalent to saving about 779,000 tonnes of standard coal each year.
