Baihetan at 4 years: Powering progress, cutting emissions, sustaining the Jinsha River

Since its commissioning four years ago, CTG's Baihetan Hydropower Station has generated over 196 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, saving over 59 million tonnes of standard coal and reducing 160 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions.

While ensuring a steady power supply, the project also promotes sustainability through initiatives such as water flow regulation and fish stock enhancement.

It also supports the growth of local industries and tourism, contributing to a greener future along the Jinsha River.
