《三峡集团生物多样性保护报告》专家点评

　　本报告是中国三峡集团发布的第二份生物多样性保护专项报告，从中我能深刻感受到中国三峡集团聚焦社会大众关切问题、长期开展生物多样性保护管理与实践、致力于与大自然和谐共生的用心与努力。

　　This is the second specialized biodiversity conservation report released by CTG, from which I can feel its dedication and efforts to respond to public interests, carry out long-term biodiversity conservation management and practice, and strive to promote harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

　　管理更科学，奠定坚实基础

　　报告设置“构建人与自然和谐共生的管理之道”专章，呈现了中国三峡集团作为进行生物多样性保护及长江大保护自主承诺的首家央企，深入开展生物多样性风险与影响管理、生物多样性国际交流等工作，为持续开展生物多样性保护奠定坚实的基础。不仅如此，设置专题，以小见大，聚焦库布其光伏治沙项目，采用《自然资本议定书》方法学，结合项目相关生物多样性保护实践，识别项目对自然资本的影响和依赖，推动项目生物多样性管理的持续改进。

　　The chapter “Establishing a Path for Harmonious Coexistence between Humans and Nature” in the report demonstrates that CTG, as the first central SOE to make a voluntary commitment on biodiversity endeavors and the Yangtze River conservation, conducts in-depth risk and impact management and international exchanges in biodiversity, laying a solid foundation for continuous biodiversity conservation. In addition, the report provides a feature focusing on Kubuqi PV Desertification Control Project. This feature adopts the methodology of Natural Capital Protocol, which is combined with the Project’s biodiversity conservation practices, to identify the project’s impact and dependence on natural capital. This helps in the continuous improvement of CTG’s biodiversity management.

　　报告参考联合国《生物多样性公约》及《昆明—蒙特利尔 全球生物多样性框架》等文件，披露了中国三峡集团自身对生物多样性的影响与依赖，深入开展覆盖物种、基因和生态系统多样性三大层次的实践，并以专题的形式，集中展现其在促进珍稀物种自然繁衍生息、气候与生态协同增 效等方面作出的不懈努力，彰显了中国三峡集团坚持在保护中发展、在发展中保护，助力构建地球生命共同体的智慧与实力。

　　With reference to United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity and Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, the report discloses CTG’s impact and reliance on biodiversity based on in-depth practices covering the diversity of species, genes and ecosystems. In the form of features, it showcases CTG’s continuous efforts to promote the natural reproduction of rare species, as well as the synergistic interaction between climate and ecology. All of these demonstrate the wisdom and capability of CTG in building a shared future for all life on Earth, with its unfailing devotion to harmonizing development with conservation.

　　With turquoise as the main color, the report incorporates abundant elements of CTG’s ecological conservation practices, drawing a beautiful picture of the harmonious coexistence between the corporation and nature. Meanwhile, the report reveals CTG's efforts and achievements in biodiversity conservation with impressive data and vibrant pictures, which can easily resonate with readers and thus establish CTG’s image as an advocate for biodiversity conservation. The report also demonstrates CTG’s biodiversity conservation practices in different fields and projects through the lens of multiple stakeholders, increasing the readability of the report and showing CTG's willingness to closely communicate with the public.
