Kubuqi solar and wind power base project

It is the world’s largest solar and wind power base project, developed by CTG in the Kubuqi Desert in Ordos, north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Located in China’s seventh largest desert, the project has a total installed capacity of 160 MW, including 80 MW of photovoltaic power, 40 MW of wind power, and other energy resources.
Upon completion, the project will provide around 40 TWh of electricity for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region annually. Meanwhile, it will also improve local ecology, boost economic development, and drive the growth of developing industrial clusters of PV power generation, energy storage, and digitalization.
