On June 28, 2023, the world’s first offshore wind farm with 16 MW turbines was completed in China. The 16 MW wind turbine, located in Fujian province, features a 152-meter hub, which is equivalent to the height of a 52-story structure, as well as the world’s longest impeller diameter of 252 meters and the lightest per megawatt weight.
