Myanmar NLD High-level Officials and Media Delegation Visited the Three Gorges Project

From December 4 to December 5, a delegation formed by senior officials of the My-anmar National League for Democracy (NLD) and the media visited the Three Gorges Project and exchanged ideas with China Three Gorges Corporation on issues such as reservoir and dam construction and clean energy development. During the meeting, the delegation expressed hopes for CTG to give theoretical and technical support to My-anmar in terms of operation of hydropower stations, new energy development and hy-dropower development in Myanmar. Mr. Zhang Shuguang, Assistant President of CTG and Director of the Three Gorges Complex Administration, said that the CTG has ac-cumulated rich experience and attracted large numbers of talents in hydropower project construction and operation. Myanmar has abundant hydropower resources that can be exploited. CTG is willing to play up its advantages and work together with the Bur-mese people to develop hydropower resources and serve Myanmar's social and eco-nomic development.
