Concrete pouring at main plant unit of right bank underground power station of Wudongde Dam completed

The final silo of concrete pouring at #11 power generator unit of the right bank underground power station of Wudongde Dam completed on June 12 after 45 hours of uninterrupted operation, marking the completion of the concrete pouring work at all of the six units at the right bank station.
The project will enter the peak season for electromechanical installation and construction after the final acceptance of the concrete pouring work.
The main plant for the power station at the right bank of the Wudongde Dam is the world’s highest in terms of the excavation. The excavation work commenced on August 15, 2013. The concrete pouring work for the first power generation unit started on June 15, 2016 and was completed on October 31, 2018 for electromechanical installation and construction.
According to the schedule, the concrete pouring work for all units of the right bank of the Wudongde Dam will be completed by July 2019 for electromechanical installation and construction.
