CTG sponsors China’s National Ballet on performance tour in Brazil

China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) sponsored National Ballet of China on a performance tour in Brazil recently, as part of the efforts to promote China’s outstanding cultural works to the world and strengthen the cultural exchanges between China and Brazil.
Dancers of the National Ballet of China performed a traditional Chinese ballet “Raise the Red Lantern” in St. Paulo last month, presenting an excellent show with rich classic Chinese elements to the local people and celebrating 45 years of bilateral relationship in the year of 2019.
This is the third stop of the National Ballet of China’s performance tour in Brazil after Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro. CTG Brasil is the main sponsor of the cultural event.
Chen Peijie, Consul General of China in Sao Paulo, guests from S？o Paulo State and S？o Paulo Municipal governments as well as representatives from CTG Brazil and other Chinese companies along with 1,000 local audiences attended the opening ceremony and watched the performance.
Leading media outlets from the two countries such as China Central Television, Xinhua News Agency, South American Overseas Chinese Newspaper (NMOB) and Folha de S.Paulo covered the event.
