Xiluodu-Xiangjiaba cascade reservoir completes 2019 mission for impoundment

The Xiluodu Reservoir completed its 2019 mission for impoundment on October 4 after the reservoir hit 600m, marking the completion of impoundment at the end of the flood season in 2019 for Xiluodu-Xiangjiaba cascade reservoir.
This is also the sixth consecutive year that the Xiluodu-Xiangjiaba cascade reservoir has completed its impoundment mission. The Xiangjiaba Reservoir fulfilled its annual impoundment mission on September 21.
Starting on September 1 from a water level of 556m, the impoundment mission for the Xiluodu Reservoir saw a cumulative increase of water level by 44m with a total impoundment capacity exceeding 5 billion cubic meters, laying a solid foundation to realize the annual power generation target.
