First two runners of Baihetan Dam’s power units delivered for installation

The first two runners of the Baihetan Dam’s million-kilowatt power units on the left and right banks were delivered and transferred from the Baihetan Dam Runner Processing Facilities on June 13 and 14 respectively. With a total weight exceeding 300 tons, the two runners are currently housed in a temporary site outside the facilities.
Manufactured by Dongfang Electric Machinery and Harbin Electric Machinery factories respectively, the two runners passed the acceptance test in January and May of this year.
In order to make way for the processing of remaining runners, the twin runners were moved to a temporary storage site, which will be installed after the construction of the underground powerhouse is completed for electromechanical installation and construction.
