Connection Project of the 220 kV GIS Station of Gezhouba Power Station is Initi-ated

On December 5, the project to connect the 220 kV switch station (old station) of Gezhouba Power Station to the 220 kV GIS station (new station) was officially launched. The GIS upgrading project of Gezhouba 220 kV switch station is a major technological transformation project of CYPC. The original open outdoor switch station will be transformed into an indoor GIS distribution station. The construction began in June 2016, and in July 2017, installation and commissioning of GIS equipment official-ly started. On December 3, 2017, GIS station passed the flow-rise and pressure boost tests. At this point, installation and commissioning of Gezhouba 220 kV GIS switch station was completed and ready to transmit electricity.
