Baihetan hydropower plant hoists the last 1 GW generator seat ring into the nest on the left bank on November 3.

The first seat ring was shipped to the site and began assembly on September 15, 2018. It was hoisted into the nest on November 24, 2018. The last seat ring started assembly on September 6, 2019 and welding on September 11.

A total of 8 seat rings for the left bank completed assembly and welding within 16 months, laying a solid ground to make it an excellent mechanical and electric project.
