CTG donates RMB13.7 million to help Hubei’s Enshi fight against COVID-19

China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) has donated RMB13.7 million in total so far to help Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province, which is located in the Three Gorges Reservoir Region, as part of the efforts to fight against COVID-19 epidemic.

CTG initially donated RMB10 million to Enshi in late January after learning that the region is in urgent need of medical supplies to deal with the coronavirus epidemic at the frontline, making the group among the first batch of enterprises to provide donation for Enshi.

In early February, CTG-controlled Hubei Energy Group further donated a total of RMB3.4 million to five counties and cities in the region to support the epidemic prevention and control efforts.

Meanwhile, CTG employees also made donations to Hubei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, of which RMB300,000 donated funds have been allocated to medical institutions for epidemic prevention and control by Enshi Prefectural Federation of Trade Unions.
