CTG help lift Bairin Left Banner out of poverty

Bairin Left Banner of Inner Mongolia, which China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) has supported to fight against poverty for 17 years consecutively since 2003, reached the poverty reduction indicators and was officially removed from the list of impoverished counties/banners on March 4.

The announcement comes at a critical moment for China, which is putting efforts to win “two major battles” of fighting against COVID-19 epidemic and reducing poverty.

CTG has helped the region to develop in a sustainable way by ramping up local infrastructure, education and healthcare, contributing to its goal of building a well-off society.
