CTG’s Luz Del Sur project team and Chinese national medical experts arrive in Peru

China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd, a listed arm of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), has sent its Luz Del Sur project team and Chinese national medical experts to Lima, the capital city of Peru on May 23.

The arrival of the team follows CTG’s donation of medical equipment to the Peruvian Ministry of Health, which arrived in Peru on May 18.

China Yangtze Power completed the acquisition of a stake in Peruvian electricity distribution company Luz Del Sur on April 24. Despite the serious challenges brought by the pandemic, China Yangtze Power then established a management team composed of financial, legal, operational, technical and other professionals, undertaking the tasks of ensuring the smooth operation of the company after the transaction and a stable and safe power supply to the local community.
