CTG Renewables kicks off another highland wind power project

China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., the alternative energy arm of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), officially began constructing its 50-MW wind farm in the Gobi Desert around Dulan County, Qinghai Province on June 11.

Approved on October 18, 2019, the project is a supplementary power project of the UHV transmission base in Hainan Prefecture in the province. It is planned to install 20 2.5-MW highland wind turbines.
