CTG sends 15 employees to Karot hydropower project in Pakistan

China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) dispatched 15 employees to the frontlines of the Karot hydropower project in Pakistan on June 24, an important guarantee for the safe construction of the project amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The move will also offer important support for the early completion of the first hydropower project in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Lei Mingshan, chairman of CTG, sent them off and expressed his sincere gratitude to all the employees who have been working at the site of Karot project since the outbreak of the epidemic.

The dispatched personnel, backbones drawn from CTG subsidiaries, will be in a 14-day self-quarantine upon arrival in Islamabad, Pakistan, and head to the project site afterwards.
