Three Gorges dam puts all power units in operations for the first time in 2020

The Three Gorges hydropower plant, built and operated by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), put all of its 34 power generators into operation on June 21 for the first time in 2020, with a total output of 20.47 GW and a daily generating capacity of nearly 400 GWh.

Meanwhile, the inflow of the Three Gorges Reservoir reached more than 30,000 cubic meters per second the same day.
