Descent of GU20 rotor of Ilha Solteira HPP

This week, CTG Brazil, a subsidiary of the CTG, successfully completed an important milestone in the second phase of modernization of the Single Island plant: the descent of the rotor of the generating unit 20. The rotor descent, which weighs about 460 tons, is an activity that is part of the process of assembly of the generating unit and requires a lot of technique, knowledge and commitment from the team involved to complete it with safety and quality. We strengthen that professionals who are working on the operation, maintenance and modernization of our plants follow strict access criteria including temperature measurement and testing for Covid-19 verification, as well as adopting prevention measures such as the use of mask, hygiene frequent of hands and distance.
