CTG-owned Changlongshan pumped storage power station hoists first stator

Changlongshan pumped storage power station, built and owned by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), announced that it has hoisted the No. 1 power unit's stator on September 26, the heaviest component it has hoisted since the project started.

The hoisting of the stator marks that the No.1 power unit’s general assembly is now entering the final phase, which is expected to be finished within this year before rotor hoisting and hydrocoupling.

The installation of No.1 power generator will lay a solid foundation for its planned commissioning in July, 2021.
