Wudongde hydropower plant marks10 billion kWh of electricity generation

Wudongde hydropower plant achieved a major milestone on November 6, when the total electricity generated by its four power units since they were commissioned earlier this year exceeded10 billion kWh.
The clean energy is equivalent to saving 3.09 million tons of standard coal, or a reduction of 8.44 million tons of carbon dioxide.
The hydropower plant will install 12 generators in total, each with a generating capacity of 850 MW.
