CTG-built Moray East offshore wind farm in the UK hoists the first wind turbine

Moray East offshore wind farm, a project jointly developed by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) and Energias de Portugal (EDP), announced that it has installed the first wind turbine on January 15.
The Moray East offshore wind farm, located in Moray Firth of Scotland, will install 100 units of 9.5-MW turbine to reach a total installed capacity of 950 MW and an average annual utilization of over 4,000 hours. The project began construction in December 2018 and is expected to supply electricity to more than 100,000 local households when it is put into operation.
