China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., the alternative energy arm of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), said its 100MW photovoltaic power project in Wan'an, the first project combining fishing with photovoltaics in Jiangxi Province, has commenced power generation on June 19.
The project, located in Shaokou Town, Wan'an County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, a town paired with CTG in poverty alleviation initiative, started construction on April 19, 2021. The 60-day duration sets a new record for CTG Renewables in terms of how fast the company commences new project.
