CTG Renewables bags Best IPO award by New Fortune

The IPO case of CTG Renewables, listed alternative energy arm of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, won the Best IPO Award by New Fortune, according to the list of the 15th New Fortune Best Investment Banks the magazine released on March 24.

Starting from 2004, the New Fortune Best Investment Banks is one of the most comprehensive investment bank competitions in China. On June 10, 2021, CTG Renewables was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opening at 3.18 yuan per share and closing at 3.82 yuan, up 44.15%. With its market value hitting 100 billion yuan on the first day of listing, the company became the largest IPO in the history of China's power industry and the largest listed renewable energy company by market cap.
