Date: 2022-05-07

On April 27, CTG released 14,000 endemic fish fries, which inhabit the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, into the Heishui River, further helping the conservation of natural fish resources. Until now, CTG has undertaken such activities in the Heshui River for 4 consecutive years, releasing 54,500 fries.
The Heishui River is an important tributary of the upper Yangtze River, located in southwest China. "The activity can protect rare and endemic fish in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River." Sun Gan, an expert with from the Environmental Protection Department of CTG, said. "It can raise public awareness for environment protection and encourage them to participate in fish conservation," Sun added.
