The ninth unit of the Baihetan HPP has put into operation

Unit 6 of the Baihetan Hydropower Station successfully passed the 72-hour trial operation and was officially put into operation on June 2. This is CTG’s 103rd hydro generator unit that has been put into operation on the Yangtze River mainstream.

The project had generated over 27 billion kWh of clean electricity. After full completion, it will be the world's second biggest power station after the 22.5 GW Three Gorges Project, with a multi-year average power generation capacity of 62.443 billion kW, and will continuously boost the world's largest clean energy corridor.
