Date: 2022-07-11
The daily volume of power generated by the six cascade hydropower stations on the Yangtze River operated by CTG has hit a record high of 1.3 billion kWh, with 100 generator units operating simultaneously.
The world's largest clean energy corridor includes Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba, the Three Gorges, and Gezhouba.
With large power output and strong power regulation capacity, the six power stations effectively address the power shortage in Central and East China, Southwest China's Yunnan and Sichuan provinces as well as South China's Guangdong Province.
