CTG has gone all out to provide a solid guarantee for peak electricity usage in summer.
From July 1st to July 16th, the six cascade hydropower stations on the Yangtze River generated more than 1 billion kWh of power per day for 16 consecutive days, effectively alleviating the electricity shortage in several provinces. In addition, new energy sources such as photovoltaics and wind power, as well as pumped-storage plant, new energy storage, hydrogen energy, solar thermal, etc., have also contributed to the energy supply during the peak.
At the same time, CTGers used drones and manual inspections, among other means, to evaluate power generation and ensure the equipment functions smoothly even during critical periods of high-temperature weather and heavy-load production.
