2,000-tonne offshore wind farm installation vessel was launched

Designed and built by CTG, the Baihetan vessel, China's first 2,000-tonne offshore wind farm installation vessel, was launched recently in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province. The vessel integrates the functions of transportation, dynamic positioning, lifting, installation, rescue and salvage, among other features, with outstanding performance in carrying, construction, maneuvering, stability, etc.

With a deck area of 4,200 square meters, the vessel can hoist a 2,000-tonne wind turbine foundation, which can meet the integrated installation requirements of large-capacity wind turbines of 10 MW and above.
