"The Karot Project has the dedication of professional technicians from over the world," said He Changchun, one of the supervisors of the Karot Project.

In 2016, He came to Pakistan and led a team of technicians from 9 countries, including Pakistan, China, Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Nepal, Sweden and Sri Lanka. They were responsible for the project’s quality, environment and safety regulations. In this team, senior experts from Australia supervised the dam's construction, experts from Sweden ensure the installation quality of power-generation units, and Pakistani environmental engineers draw up the environmental protection plans, with He Changchun bringing employees from different countries together to improve communication.

Based on different situations, He prepares specialized training materials to guide the engineers and supervisors from multiple countries and maintains efficient communication and coordination with all parties. He’s humble, frank, positive and prudent attitude has won him everyone’s respect.
