A guardian story of the CTGer
Date: 2022-08-15

207 wind turbines of CTG are well-distributed in the undulating Qiyueshan Mountains in central China, capturing the wind's power and converting it to clean electricity.
With an average age of 28, 18 engineers operated those wind turbines. They have climbed the tower drum with an accumulated height of 4,924 meters and inspected more than 1,000 km of lines every year. Those numbers tell a guardian story of the CTGer. "Sometimes, when I solved a problem of the wind turbine and I looked at the sun dipping in the sky in front of me, I feel extremely excited." Zhang Aihua, one of the engineers, said.
So far, the Qiyueshan Wind Farm has accumulated more than 4.5 billion kWh of clean electricity, equivalent to saving 1.46 million tonnes of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 3.77 million tonnes.
