The Haiba PV project in southwest China was officially put into operation

Funded and built by CTG, the Haiba photovoltaic (PV) project in southwest China’s Yunnan province was officially put into operation on August 24. With a total installed capacity of 240 MW, this project is expected to generate 425 million kWh of electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving about 129,700 tonnes of standard coal and reducing 355,900 tonnes of C02 emissions annually.
This PV project integrates grazing and power generation, so it can promote grazing sheep on solar installations can graze animals among the solar panels, which helps achieve a win-win result in terms of economic and environmental benefits.
