Three CTG projects were showcased on Sudan's in 2019 issued 100 Sudanese pound currency

On Sudan's 2019 issued 100 Sudanese pound currency, three projects, funded and built by CTG, were showcased on the back, namely the Merowe Dam Project (left), the Roseles Dam Heightening Project (middle), and the Dam Complex of Upper Atbara Project (right).

Located on the mainstream and tributaries of the Nile River, the mother river of Sudan, the installed capacity of these projects accounts for about 95% of the total installed capacity of hydropower and more than 60% of the total installed capacity of power generation in Sudan. By combining power generation and irrigation functions, these projects boost local development, benefiting local communities.
