400 MW offshore wind farms started construction in in Fujian Province

On February 4, the phase II project of CTG’s Liu'ao offshore wind farm started construction. This 400 MW project will be able to generate 1.6 billion kWh of electricity a year, saving over 500,000 tonnes of standard coal and reducing 1.36 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Located 32.8 km away from Zhangpu in Fujian Province, this project is one of the first offshore wind farms that adopt 16 MW wind turbines. CTG will utilize the project to develop marine ranching, hydrogen production, PV, and other offshore industries.
