Highway constructed by CTG connects both sides

“Chestnuts and tea grown by villagers are sold to all parts of the country through the Three Gorges highway. The highway provides a great boost for the economic development of our village!" said Chen Yicai, the leader of Xia'anxi Village in Yichang City.

The 28.64-km highway constructed by CTG connects Yichang City in the east and the Three Gorges Dam area in the west.

It brings more tourists from the world to the globally famous Three Gorges Dam, and thus leads to the prospering of local tourism. Running eco-friendly B&B hotels and restaurants with local features, and growing cash crops such as chestnuts and tea, local villagers are living a prosperous life today.
