Three Gorges hydrogen ship No.1 hit the water in Zhongshan

Three Gorges hydrogen ship No.1, China’s first 500kW hydrogen-powered service ship, hit the water in Zhongshan, south China’s Guangdong province on March 17. The vessel's maximum speed reaches 28 kilometers per hour, and it has a maximum cruise range of 200 kilometers, featuring high environmental friendliness and comfort with low energy consumption and noise.

Powered by homegrown hydrogen fuel cells and a lithium battery system, it will be mainly used for transportation, inspection and emergency work in the Three Gorges Reservoir area and between the Three Gorges and Gezhouba Dam.
