Green hydrogen project begins production in Inner Mongolia

China's first 10,000-tonne-level new-energy-based hydrogen production project started producing hydrogen on Thursday.
The project, located in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is a pilot project that uses local solar power to generate hydrogen and is operated by CTG.
The local solar project has an annual power generation capacity of 740 million kilowatt hours. While 20 percent of the generated by project will be connected to the local grid, 80 percent will be applied for hydrogen production.
