Today, the installation of the world's first offshore wind farm using a 16-megawatt wind turbine was finished at CTG's Pingtan offshore wind farm in Pingtan, Fujian province and is expected to be put into operation soon.

This 16-megawatt wind turbine is equipped with a 152-meter hub, which is equal to the height of a 52-story building. It also has the world's longest impeller diameter of 252 meters and the lightest per megawatt weight.
