"Three Gorges Hydrogen Ship No.1" completed its maiden voyage in Yichang

China's first hydrogen fuel cell powered demonstration boat "Three Gorges Hydrogen Ship No.1", developed by CTG's units, completed its maiden voyage in Yichang on October 11. The 49.9-meter ship has a capacity of 80 passengers. With a maximum speed of 28 kilometers per hour and cruising speed of 20 kilometers per hour, it can sail up to 200 km.

The successful maiden voyage signifies a breakthrough in applying hydrogen fuel cell technology to inland ships. As a pioneering model, it signifies progress in building green and smart ships to achieve low-carbon shipping on the Yangtze River.
