Date: 2023-12-01

In early November, the Kubuqi Desert in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region reveals a captivating vista of lush green landscapes. The trial planting at the Kubuqi Base Project built and operated by CTG, has cultivated 65.89 acres of alfalfa and oats.
With a total installed capacity of 16GW, the Kubuqi Base Project stands as China’s inaugural venture into the realm of new energy projects on a scale exceeding 10 million kilowatts. Once completed, it will provide 40,000 GWh of electricity annually to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Impressively, more than half of this will be derived from clean energy sources, saving 6 million tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon emissions by about 16 million tonnes.
