CTG’s Three Gorges Remote Sensing-1 satellite launched

CTG’s Three Gorges Remote Sensing-1 satellite was launched on January 11 at 13:30 (GMT+8), initiating its 4-9 months of in-orbit testing before entering trial operation. It is designed to monitor atmospheric parameters for weather forecasting and collaborate with its HPPs and water management facilities to enhance disaster prevention along the Yangtze River basin.
