World's largest energy corridor generates impressive power

The world's largest clean energy corridor, comprised of 6 cascade hydropower stations along the Yangtze River, generated over 276,000 GWh of electricity in 2023, marking a 5.34% year-on-year increase.

With a total installed capacity of 71.695 GW, its annual generation not only surpasses the entire annual electricity consumption of Hubei Province in 2023, but also made contributions to environmental protection. It saved approximately 83 million tonnes of standard coal, which in turn led to a reduction of over 200 million tonnes of carbon emissions, meeting the annual electricity needs of over 290 million people.
