CTG's 16-megawatt offshore wind turbine among Top 10 technological innovations in energy industry in 2023

CTG's 16-megawatt offshore wind turbine has been recognized as one of the "Top 10 technological innovations in the energy industry in 2023" by China's National Energy Administration. This recognition is due to the turbine's world-leading features, including the highest single-unit capacity, the largest rotor diameter, and the lightest weight per megawatt among commercially operational units globally.

Located in Pingtan, southeast China's Fujian Province, each turbine can produce 66 GWh of clean energy annually, powering 36,000 households. This results in a saving of 22,000 tonnes of coal and a reduction of approximately 54,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
