CTG Brasil's Retiro Small Hydroelectric Power Plant (SHPP) marks decade of clean energy generation

On March 1, CTG Brasil's Retiro Small Hydroelectric Power Plant (SHPP) celebrated its 10th anniversary. Located on the Sapucaí-Mirim River in São Paulo, the project is part of the Brazil National Interconnected System (SIN), known for its advanced technology and safety measures.
With an installed capacity of 16 MW, the Retiro SHPP generated 72,099.85 MWh of clean energy last year, enough to power a town of 24,000 residents, making a valuable contribution to Brazil's energy infrastructure.
