CTG Brasil restocks over 1.3 mln fish in Paranapanema River basin

CTG Brasil released 1.325 million fish by March 26 in reservoirs of seven hydroelectric plants operated by the company on the Paranapanema River.  

The fish used in the restocking program are produced at the CTG Brasil Pisciculture in Salto Grande (SP). In the laboratory, in addition to fish production, research is carried out in partnership with universities.

“With this March action, we will reach a total of 1.45 million fish released in the Paranapanema river basin, which were scheduled for this year 2024”, said Norberto Castro Vianna, environment specialist at CTG Brasil.
