Date: 2024-05-06
After six months of construction, the expansion of the Pumiri substation has been completed. This substation is a key component of CTG’s San Gaban III Hydropower Project in Peru, integrating the hydropower project with the 220KV transmission line, enhancing the region's power distribution capabilities.
Situated at an altitude of 3,800 meters in the Andean highlands of South America, the substation serves as the terminal point of the 180-km transmission line, connecting the hydropower plant to the grid.
In a testament to the swift advancement of the project, the construction of transmission line towers is making great progress. The newly-erected Tower T89, which stands as the tallest among the 414 towers, positioned on a mountain cliff at an elevation of 5,100 meters, symbolizing the project's engineering prowess.
