Researchers introduced groups of mature sturgeons into experimental pools, leading to synchronized natural spawning and ejaculation.

052802

This experiment was conducted at CTG's Yangtze River Biodiversity Research Center in the Three Gorges Dam area. The results provided essential biological, hydrological and environmental data, offering valuable insights for future sturgeon spawning ground restoration and population recovery efforts.
