Construction of Fujian's first offshore PV project in full swing

The construction of the first offshore photovoltaic project in southeast China's Fujian Province, CTG's Dongshan 180 MW offshore photovoltaic power project, is in full swing.

The project includes a 110 kV onshore substation and an 18 MW/36 MWh energy storage system, capable of generating 300 million kWh of clean electricity and saving about 90,200 tonnes of standard coal annually.

The project pioneers an innovative model for offshore photovoltaic area, where the sea area under photovoltaic panels is utilized for fish-farming, combining solar power generation with aquaculture. This approach promotes the efficient and intensive utilization of marine resources.
