CTG Asia-Africa celebrates 2nd anniversary of Karot project

Date: 2024-07-18

"We are excited to open our doors to the community and share the achievements we have made in sustainable development," said Mr. N A Zuberi, Senior Advisor of CTG Asia-Africa.

CTG Asia-Africa, an overseas subsidiary of CTG, has recently celebrated the second anniversary of the Karot Hydropower Project with a community open day, as the project was connected to the grid two years ago.

The event welcomed 35 representatives, including local school teachers, students, scholars, and respected elders from the community.

The day's itinerary offered an immersive tour of the project's key features, including the project's viewing platform, spillway, and dam structure, providing attendees with a profound understanding of the hydropower generation.

The celebration was also tailored for the younger attendees—ranging from the lively game of musical chairs to the spirited matches of cricket and exhilarating running races.

These activities were designed to reinforce the bonds that tie the community together, making the celebration a truly memorable experience for all involved.
