CTG LatAm recently held an open day event at its Baranoa I Photovoltaic Plant in Barranquilla, Colombia. The event attracted over 20 students majoring in renewable energy and teachers from Institución Universitaria de Barranquilla.
The participants toured the solar plant, control room, and substation, gaining insights into CTG's development in clean energy and the significance of the Baranoa I Photovoltaic Plant, CTG's first greenfield solar investment in Colombia.
Students said they gained a deeper understanding of solar plant operations, and expressed their respect to the Chinese and Colombian engineers on-site.
Additionally, CTG LatAm also hosted another open day activity at its Bogotá office, welcoming over 20 students and teachers from the Business Administration Bachelor's program at Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA), in an effort to introduce them to the company’s efforts over the past four years in supporting Colombia’s energy transition and addressing climate change.
